YEAR 6 TO 7 ELECTRONIC ENROLMENT PROCESS

 

YEAR 6 STUDENT PLACEMENT INTO YEAR 7 IN 2027

 

Victorian government primary schools manage the Year 7 placement process for their Year 6 students in accordance with the timeline.

For parents/carers of children in Year 6 at government primary schools seeking a Year 7 place at a government secondary school next year.

Placement information has been emailed to one adult of the Year 6 student’s family early in Term 2 (please check spam and junk mail).

 

The adult name and email address provided in this email must be used for registration by selecting the link provided.

Year 6 to 7 placement information

 

If you not already, register for a VicStudents account

1. Select the link: https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/

2. Select Register

3. Read the acknowledgement and select Continue

4. Enter your details (parent/carer details, not student details) as

provided to you in an email at the start of Term 2

5. Check your inbox for verification email (check spam folder)

6. Select the link emailed to you to complete registration

7. Set a new password when prompted

8. Select Change Password

9. This will open the VicStudents Portal homepage

 

Ongoing access to the VicStudents portal

1. Select the link: https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/

2. Enter your email address and password login details

3. Select Log in

4. When logging in on a new device, you will be prompted for a

verification code

• Check your email for the code

• Enter code and select Verify

5. This will open the VicStudents portal

6. Manage your Profile, notifications and Logout via the menu

 

Moving to a non-government secondary school or registering for home schooling

If your child is enrolling in a non-government secondary school, contact the secondary school directly to find out about their enrolment process.
